Return Policy
Heavy Armor Division pledges to do everything we can to ensure the accuracy of your order. Some returns can be costly to ship back and forth, so H.A.D. asks that do you everything to ensure that you are ordering the correct parts needed for your projects in order to avoid return transactions. If a return transaction must be done, it will be done in accordance to the following policies.

• All returns must be made within 14 days of the original shipping date.
• Any returns must be brought to the attention of H.A.D. via email or phone call. Any packages shipped directly back to us without notification may be turned down.
• Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer in ALL instances except one in which we shipped you the incorrect item due to our error. 
• All returned items must be returned in the same condition in which we sent them.  If it is not returned in original condition, H.A.D. reserves the right to deny a refund. This includes parts kits. If any specific parts aren't accounted for in the return, the customer will be charged for missing parts.
• For all items under a manufacturer warranty, the customer should handle the return directly with the manufacturer.
• No returns will be accepted for cosmetic issues, missing items, etc once the firearm(s) has been transferred to you by your FFL dealer.
• Shipping charges are never refunded.  If you return an item for any reason, please know we will not refund the shipping charges you incurred when we shipped the order to you.  No exceptions.
• If we have to send a return shipping label to get an item back from your FFL for any reason (not passing background check, FFL refusing to do the transfer, you changed your mind, etc), we will deduct the return shipping charges from your refund.

Turnaround
All orders are shipped within 7-9 days - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Order Tracking
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.


Firearm Restrictions

Heavy Armor Division will ONLY transfer ownership of a firearm to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). H.A.D. cannot ship directly to anyone who does not hold a current license.

Be Aware of Federal & Local Restrictions
Federal regulations require you to pass a background check when purchasing a firearm which will be performed when you pick up your gun.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a long-gun and 21 to purchase a handgun. When purchasing a firearm from H.A.D., we require you to comply with Federal and Local laws.

Select a Local Firearm Dealer for Shipping
Heavy Armor Division is a Federal Firearms License dealer which means we can sell and ship firearms to other FFLs in the U.S. Federal law states; we cannot ship guns to private citizens. What does this mean for our customers? You can still purchase guns from Heavy Armor Division, but you must choose a local licensed firearm dealer to receive it on your behalf. Once you've chosen the dealer you want us to ship to, you must ask the dealer to fax (330-499-3785) or email a copy of their current FFL directly to Heavy Armor Division.

Transfer charges and requirements may vary per FFL dealer, so it is best to ask your preferred local dealer what the process is for gun shipment prior to placing your order.

Pickup Your New Firearm When It Arrives
When your local gun shop receives your gun, they will notify you to come pick it up. Prior to completing your background check and the firearm transfer, make sure you see the gun. If the gun is damaged or the wrong gun was shipped, do not complete the background check or transfer. Call Heavy Armor Division immediately at (704) 882-3810.
Once you’ve inspected the gun and are satisfied, complete the background check and transfer and enjoy your brand-new firearm.

All gun sales are final. There are a few exceptions:
• Shipping damage or visible firearm defect. If something is visibly damaged, do not proceed with the background check / transfer. Call immediately
• If the wrong firearm sent, a mistake may have been made. Do not proceed with the background check / transfer. Call immediately.
• Unable to own firearm. If you are unable to own the firearm because of federal, state or local laws you will be required to pay for all return shipping charges, a restocking fee of 10%, original shipping costs are not refundable. It is your responsibility to pass the required background check as well as your responsibility to be aware of any Federal, State or Local restrictions that apply to you.

Shipping Restrictions
As the purchaser of products, you are required to comply with all Federal, State and Local laws regarding the legality of your purchase. If you order magazines unlawfully and attempt to have the items shipped to an address that is not legal, the online shopping cart will not automatically prevent you from doing so. However you will still be subject to a 15% restocking fee upon the cancellation of your order.
