I ordered  this slide with hopes of giving my 1911 a better look and tighter fitment of the slide to frame. Now in my haste I ordered a 70 series instead of an 80 series slide. Now I accept fault but I emailed twice waiting for a response about my mistake. A simple response would be better than being ignored by this company. Now I have a slide that I cannot use unless I remove a safety feature from my gun. I only wanted a slide to fit an 80 series or a refund but I've not received a single response from this company so I will not be buying anymore products from them in the future.

Ill be honest, I have no idea what Im doing. I bought a cheap 1911 and wanted to make it mine without knowing anything. At one point I got series 80 parts when mine is a series 70. However, I ordered this slide and mentioned my concern over if it would fit and work properly. In response I received a HANDWRITTEN note in my order talking about potential problems and their solutions. Zero problems with the slide in the end, and after some emails I can confidently say Im very impressed. A wonderful company making incredible things and caring about their work, this is a personal reminder and a reminder for everyone that not buying from a huge corporation has its perks. The only downside is 1. i wish i could  show more people how impressed I am instead of it being on just one product, and 2. I wish I had more things to buy! I want to buy a Glock now just to see what wonderful things they could do to it! truly impressed. I wish this team the best of luck in all their endeavors.

So I bought this slide with night sights and a midnight bronze cerakote. This slide required no lapping for my springfield mil spec. Quality is great. Functionality is great. Sights installed are snug. Craftsman ship is awesome. Took some time but well worth it to see the final product. And considering i had to no lapping it was even better.
